Subnetting adalah suatu teknik memecah jaringan menjadi beberapa jaringan kecil dengan cara mengganti digit 0 pada host id subnet mask menjadi digit 1
Tujuan : memperkecil jaringan sesuai dengan kebutuhan (mengurangi jumlah Ip Address disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan jaringan)
